Snuggles came into rescue in January 2009. Her owners could no longer care for her so they decided to turn her over to our organization. This sweet girl came to us with a severe case of bladder stones. Even though she was clearly in a lot of pain, Snuggles wagged her tail at her foster mom and dad and even managed to beg for food. Since coming into rescue, she had surgery and the vet was successfully able to remove all the stones. To avoid this problem from re-occurring she will have to be on a special diet for the rest of her life. The good news is that she loves her new food. This lovely four year old who was born on December 16, 2004 has a delightful temperament. She is sweet, loves to be petted, and enjoys going out in the yard. In her previous living situation, Snuggles was an only dog but in her foster home she now has the opportunity to get used to being around other dogs. As she continues to heal, her personality is blossoming and it is very clear that this little girl will make a delightful companion.
Whoever ends up adopting her will be extremely lucky to have found such a special Pekingese.
We adopt in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia and require home and vet checks. Snuggles adoption fee is $250.00.
