Potomac Valley Pekingese Club

Unfortunately, our country has fallen on tough economic times.  As homes go into foreclosure and people's finances become tighter, a lot of families have been forced to give up their pets; some have even abandoned them.  Recently, our organization has been inundated by requests from people wanting to give up their pets and from overrun shelters trying to save these unwanted dogs from certain death.  The most painful thing for a rescuer is to have to turn away a dog in need, and that is what we are being forced to do.  All of our foster homes are full and we have nowhere to house the influx of dogs being directed our way.  PVPC really needs your help.  We need foster homes (Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia) and financial support to cover the medical costs of the Pekingese we are able to bring into our rescue system.
