My name is Buddy. I was called Bugsy, but Buddy fits me better-- I'm trying to learn to be a good buddy to my foster mom and her two dogs, Prissy and Panda. I was turned into the shelter because a two year old was picking on me and I finally got tired of it. I am a Peke, for goodness sake. You don't pull on my ears and expect me to like it!
I'm learning manners though, and am doing well with my foster mom. I am two years old, and about 13 pounds. I am a beautiful tan and white Peke-- with parti-color markings. Look at my face! Aren't I adorable? My foster mom said I couldn't get on the bed with her at night. She already had two up there! Well, I thought this was very unfair, so once she was asleep, I slowly crept up the bed stairs and curled up in her arms, under her chin. She woke up to find me there! She thought it was so cute. I obviously liked being there!!
If you're interested in adopting me, make sure there are no children around. I don't trust them anymore. I do need to eat by myself-- I don't want to share my food. I have been neutered and am up to date on my shots. We adopt in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia and require home and vet checks. Buddy's adoption fee is $300.00.
